What information BridgeLink uses, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
01Introduction
BridgeLink ("BridgeLink", "we", "our", or "us") is a communication and operational coordination platform for multiplayer gaming communities. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
By using BridgeLink, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.
02Information we collect
When you sign in using Discord, BridgeLink may collect your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar information. BridgeLink does not receive your Discord password; authentication is handled by Discord through OAuth.
When participating in an operation, BridgeLink may store session membership, join and leave events, role and unit assignments, operational hierarchy information, and administrative actions.
Operation data may include operation metadata, unit structures, participant lists, debrief notes, operational logs, archive records, mission expenses and rewards, and asset-loss reports.
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate the service, including IP address, browser and device information, connection diagnostics, and session identifiers.
03Voice communications
BridgeLink facilitates voice communication between participants and does not intentionally record or store voice conversations.
Voice traffic may pass through infrastructure necessary to establish or relay communications, including STUN and TURN services. Temporary transmission of voice data is necessary for operation of the service.
04How we use information
- Authenticate users and create or manage operations
- Route voice communications and generate debriefs or archives
- Provide operation history and improve reliability or performance
- Prevent abuse and misuse
05Data sharing and retention
BridgeLink does not sell personal information. We may share information only when necessary to operate infrastructure providers, comply with legal obligations, protect the security of the service, or enforce platform policies.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service. Retention may vary based on account status, subscription tier, operational archive settings, and legal obligations. Archived operation records may remain available until deleted or removed under applicable retention policies.
06Your rights and security
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability.
BridgeLink takes reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
07Third-party services and children’s privacy
BridgeLink relies on third-party providers that may include Discord, hosting providers, database providers, and voice relay providers. Use of these services may be governed by their own privacy policies.
BridgeLink is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use Discord or similar online services.
08Changes, Discord compliance, and contact
BridgeLink may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published through official BridgeLink channels and services. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
BridgeLink’s use of information received from Discord APIs complies with Discord’s Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policies. We request only information necessary for authentication and account functionality.
